Andreas Koefoed
Denmark
Born 1979 in Copenhagen. Andreas graduated in 2009 as a documentary director from The National Film School of Denmark and in 2004 in sociology from the University of Copenhagen. His films '12 notes down' and 'Albert's Winter' have both won a number of awards at international film festivals including Silverdocs, Full Frame, Sheffield DocFest and CPH:DOX. His latest four films have all been screened at IDFA, where 'Albert's Winter' was nominated for best short in 2009, and '12 Notes Down' for best student film in 2008. 'Albert's Winter' was recently nominated for Cinema Eye Honors for best short documentary in 2010. Together with Christian Bonke, Andreas just recently directed his first feature length documentary 'Dance Me to The End'.
